Carpocalypse – 2018

Time for design
The Houston Zombie Walk hired DesignByOne to design a poster themed around the character “Snake Plissken” from the movie Escape From New York. The poster needed to catch the car and motorcycle enthusiasts eye. Space needed to be left open for late sponsor and headliner information. This is the third poster that DesignByOne has created for the Houston Zombie Walk.

XMas with Krampus – 2017

Time for design
The Houston Zombie Walk hired DesignByOne to design a poster themed around Santa Claus and Krampus. The Houston Zombie Walk wanted to portray a “Wrestling Theme” for the poster to honor the greats of wrestling, including the late “Tugboat” Taylor. The poster needed to have a pinch of humor mixed with a lot of event information. This is the second poster that DesignByOne has created for the Houston Zombie Walk.

Event Information
The 3rd Annual Christmas with Krampus Holiday Smackdown!

Get your holiday portraits with Santa, Krampus, and the Grinch and then watch them battle it out for holiday supremacy!

There will be live music from bands, beer, vendors, and participants can get holiday photos with Santa or Krampus, or both. Stages will be set up so parents and their kids can share their Christmas wishes.

***And there’s no cover charge***

Houston Halloween Fest – 2017

Time for design
The Houston Zombie Walk hired DesignByOne to design a poster for the Houston Halloween Fest. The Houston Zombie Walk asked DesignByOne to create a poster with the classic monsters of Universal in mind. DesignByOne’s photography projects over the years with clients like The Kingwood Asylum and Brutal Rust allowed easy access to monster images. The poster needed plenty of room to add in music talent as well as event sponsors. This is the first poster that DesignByOne has created for the Houston Zombie Walk.

Event Information
The best time of year is Halloween because that means The Houston Zombie Walk will be putting on their annual Houston Halloween Festival! This year it will be taking place on Saturday, October 21, 2017, 5 pm to 10pm, on 19th Street in the Houston Heights.

The festival will feature entertainment and activities for the entire family including live music acts on the Bud Light stage, beer gardens, artist and business vendors, food trucks, costume contests and a large Kids Zone for our youngest ghosts and ghouls.

The kid’s zone will include a pumpkin patch, magician & juggling performances, carnival games, Children’s Museum Slime Factory, Halloween arts and crafts, kids cartoon characters, face painting, trick or treating and a kids costume contest.

It’s going to be a great time and look at all of the exciting stuff we have going on. The festival provides a fun and safe community environment for Houston families and people of all ages to celebrate Halloween!
